HUL Q2 Result FY25: Profit and Revenue

The standalone net profit after tax in Q2 FY25 was ₹2,612 crores down by 4% YoY as compared to the Q2 FY24 profit of ₹2,717 crores. This happened because of higher expenses and a fall in urban area sales.

The product sales revenue figure in the Hindustan Unilever Q2 results was ₹15,703 crores, higher 2.36% than the ₹15,340 crores of Q2 FY24.
The total expenses rose by 3.03% YoY due to a rise in tea and crude oil prices. The total expenses in Q2 FY25 were ₹12,581 crores in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25.
HUL Q2 Result FY25: Segment Performance
- Hindustan Unilever results posted that the home care segment generated a revenue of ₹5,731 crores in the Q2 FY25 and had grown by 8% YoY.
- The beauty and wellbeing segment made a revenue of ₹3,421 crores and had a growth of 2.51% YoY.
- The personal care segment generated a revenue of ₹2,411 crores in Q2 FY25, which was down by 5% YoY from ₹2,536 crores in Q2 FY24.
- The food and refreshment segment generated a revenue of ₹3,803 crores, down by 1.24% YoY.
- The other segment (including exports) revenue was ₹560 crores in Q2 FY25, down by 5.24% YoY.
HUL Q2 Result FY25: Interim Dividend
In the Hindustan Unilever quarterly results, the company declared an interim dividend of ₹19 per share. The record date for the interim dividend is set at November 6, 2024 and the dividend payout date was November 21, 2024.
HUL also declared a special dividend of ₹10 per share and hence the total dividend payout amount was ₹6,814 crores.
