NSE and BSE have added new stocks for futures and options trading allowing for an enhanced trading experience and more contracts availability. These can lead to better price discovery and high trading volumes. The new stocks are added after the full consideration of liquidity and size thresholds. NSE F&O’s 45 New Stocks
The lot size of each contract is set by the NSE which denotes the minimum number of shares that must be traded in an F&O contract. For the futures contracts, the tick size remains the same in the underlying security in the capital market segment while for options it should be ₹0.05.
