ONGC Q4 results reported a 20.2% YoY drop in consolidated net profit to ₹8,856 crores from ₹11,096 crores in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024. On a full-year basis, ONGC’s net profit fell by 30.7% YoY to ₹38,329 crores in FY25 from ₹55,273 crores in FY24.
On the ONGC results date, i.e., on May 21, the ONGC share price closed at ₹248.68. On the next trading day, the ONGC share price fell by around 1% to 2%. In the last 5 years, the ONGC share price has delivered more than 220% returns.

- In Q4 ONGC quarterly results, consolidated gross revenue dropped 0.8% to ₹1,70,812 crores in Q4 FY25 from ₹1,72,137 crores recorded in the same period a year ago.
- On a standalone basis, the crude oil production dropped to 4.700 MMT in Q4 FY25 from 4.714 MMT in Q4 FY24.
- On a standalone basis, the natural gas production dropped to 4.893 BCM in Q4 FY25 from 4.951 BCM in Q4 FY24.

ONGC Q4 Results: Full-Year Metrics
- As per the ONGC Q4 results, its consolidated gross revenue increased by 1.5% to ₹6,63,262 crores in FY25.
- The standalone crude oil production during FY25 was 18.558 MMT, with an increase of 0.9% over FY24.
- The standalone natural gas production was 19.654 BCM in FY25 as against 19.978 BCM in FY24.
- ONGC made 9 discoveries (5 in onland and 4 in offshore) and monetized 8 hydrocarbon discoveries in FY25.
- In FY25, the company had in total drilled 578 wells, up from 544 drilled wells in the previous financial year.
- In FY25, the company had made a capital expenditure of ₹62,000 crores, up 65.35% YoY from ₹37,494 crores over the previous year.
- HPCL’s average GRMS (Gross of export duty) for the FY 2024-25 was $5.74 per barrel from $9.08 per barrel during the previous financial year. The reduction in GRMs is in line with the trend of international product cracks.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation has declared a dividend of ₹1.25 per share (on the face value of ₹5 each) for the financial year ending March 31, 2025. The record date and payment date have not been announced yet.
